The Popular Annual Financial Report (PAFR) is Solon City School District's user-friendly financial document designed specifically for community members who want to understand our district's finances without needing an accounting background. Unlike our comprehensive audited financial statements prepared for regulatory purposes, the PAFR is prepared on a cash basis of accounting and focuses primarily on the General Fund, which is the main operating fund of the school district. The PAFR translates complex financial information into clear, accessible language that taxpayers and parents can easily understand.
